Background and Experience

Jeff has over 27 years of experience in charity work, starting from humble beginnings in his home. He is an army veteran and former member of the NSW Police, bringing a unique perspective to addressing issues like violence, homelessness, and lawlessness. Jeff is an experienced farmer with over 10 years on the land, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by regional farming communities. Jeff is also an ordained Reverend, capable of partnering with clergy from various denominations.

Achievements

– Led House of Hope Food Barn to become one of the most significant charities in NSW and ACT, recognized with the Community Group of the Year Award in 2017.

– Managed the distribution of over 58 tons of food per week in the Illawarra region through partnerships with major supermarkets like Coles, Woolworths, and IGA.

– Successfully ran a supermarket-style facility that trained long-term unemployed individuals, achieving an 83% success rate in securing employment for trainees.

– Developed and operated a community gardens project and a training men’s shed-style workshop for young people in automotive
