Christopher Wade Anderson has a rich and varied professional background, beginning his career in 1970 with roles in retail sales at Woolworths, machine operation in plastics and steel fabrication, lineman duties for Telecom, and excavator operation. Christopher is skilled in community development, counselling, mental health issues, and Aboriginal affairs. He also served as an Aboriginal Liaison Officer with the N.S.W. Police Service, where he worked with young offenders, mediated family disputes, and resolved neighbourhood conflicts.
Achievements
Aboriginal Students and Parents Awareness Program (A.S.P.A.): As Chairman from 1985 to 1995, Christopher implemented homework centres, provided school uniforms and sports gear, and started a breakfast club for students in the Bonnyrigg area.
Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (A.E.C.G.): He played a key role in establishing Aboriginal Education Assistants in N.S.W. schools and integrating Aboriginal perspectives into the curriculum.
